Patterns from an Old Weaver's Notebook

€15.00
This booklet contains patterns for handweaving restored from two of Anna Krabi's books from 1900. Anna Krabi (1870–1936, Valdmann) lived in the village of Naraka in Virumaa, Estonia. According to the story of Helle Mall, who gave me her great grandmother's notebooks, Anna Krabi took courses in handweaving near her homeplace. The old patterns have been converted into an understandable modern craft language. The selection of the patterns in the booklet is given both with an old drawing and a fabric sample, as well as with a diagram made with the WeavePoint computer program.
